Adult dose

Adults: 2g per dose, 3 times a day (4g for the first dose)

Child dose

Young children: 1g per dose, 3 times a day

This medicine can be taken with certain antibiotics, but it is advisable not to take it with drugs such as ciprofloxacin, imipenem, and cilastatin sodium. It should be used with caution in patients currently receiving treatment from a physician. This medication contains lactose and should not be used in patients with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion. When using the drug, it is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration; if symptoms do not improve after use for approximately one month, discontinue use and consult a pharmacist or physician. When using this medication in infants under three months, it is essential to consult with a pharmacist or physician. The medicine should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
