This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as constipation, loss of appetite caused by it, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 and older, take 1-2 tablets once daily at bedtime. Start with the minimum dose and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk during treatment. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, those taking other medications, individuals on a sodium-restricted diet, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal failure should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur, or if abdominal discomfort or cramping develops, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if constipation does not improve after about 1 week of use, stop taking it and consult a doctor. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and dosage regimen, and it is advisable not to administer it to children under 10 years of age, except in special circumstances. Do not chew the tablets; swallow them whole, and avoid continuous use for more than 1 week as it may lead to drug tolerance and worsening of constipation. If daily use of laxatives is necessary, the cause of constipation must be identified. Store this medication out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it in a sealed container in a cool, dry place to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication.
