Maxkain 9.6% Gel (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 mg of Lidocaine) of gel 5-15 minutes before sexual intercourse. Dosage and application time vary by individual, and use the lowest effective dose. Do not exceed a maximum of 2 grams (184 mg of Lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication is not recommended for patients with liver or kidney issues. If a rash or irritation occurs on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if symptoms persist. Avoid long-term use for more than 3 months without a doctor's guidance. This medication is for topical use only; do not use it on the eyes or nose. It is advisable not to apply continuously to the same area. Keep out of reach of children and infants in a safe place. In chronic disease treatment, do not rely solely on this medication and consider other treatment methods while carefully monitoring the patient's condition for potential side effects. When there is a skin infection, using this medication may conceal infection symptoms, so it should be used in conjunction with antibacterial or antifungal agents and monitored closely. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when deemed absolutely necessary; safety has not been fully confirmed. Caution is also needed when used in children, as safety has not been established. Do not apply to the eyes and mucosal areas, and do not cover with a sealed bag. If there is a wound on the skin, applying this medication may cause temporary irritation, so caution is advised.
