Treatment of bacterial skin infections (impetigo, folliculitis, etc.)
This medication is effective against various strains of bacteria that cause skin infections, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, other staphylococci, streptococci, as well as Gram-negative bacteria like Escherichia coli and Haemophilus influenzae. It can treat several bacterial skin infections, such as impetigo, folliculitis, furunculosis, and infectious eczema. Additionally, it is used for bacterial skin infections that occur in injured or burned areas. In other words, it helps improve various bacterial infections that appear on the skin.
Apply a small amount to the infected area 2-3 times daily for 10 days. If necessary, the applied area can be dressed or sealed.
This medication should not be used by certain patients. Patients with allergies to this medication, its ingredients, or polyethylene glycol, or with a history of such experiences, should not use it. Patients with kidney disease should avoid this medication, as the polyethylene glycol contained in this medication may be absorbed through damaged skin and put a burden on the kidneys. It is safer for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant not to use this medication. Breastfeeding women should also refrain from using this medication and should discontinue breastfeeding if necessary. This medication should not be used for long periods on damaged or torn skin, and caution is advised due to the potential impact on immune function. When using this medication, skin reactions such as burning, pain, itching, rash, and redness may occur; if these symptoms appear, use should be stopped immediately and a doctor or pharmacist consulted. Rarely, systemic allergic reactions can occur, so if abnormal symptoms arise, it is important to inform medical staff promptly. To prevent resistance, it is recommended to use this medication only for the necessary minimum duration, and if symptoms do not improve after 3-5 days of use, consult a specialist. When using on the face, care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and this medication should not be used on mucous membrane areas such as the eyes or nose. Caution is needed when using with other medications, as the effect of this medication may be diminished. This medication is for external use only and should not be used for internal administration or in central venous catheter sites. In case of overdose, the affected area should be washed thoroughly, and if necessary, medical assistance should be sought; this medication is generally low in toxicity. Keep this medication out of reach of children, do not transfer to another container, and properly dispose of any leftover medication.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air and moisture from entering. It is best to store at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
