Improvement of vitamin B1 deficiency and neurological conditions (peripheral neuropathy, neuralgia)
This injection is used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency. It is particularly helpful when sufficient intake through food is not possible, such as in cases of hyperthyroidism, pregnancy and lactation, or during strenuous physical labor. It is also effective for serious conditions such as Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. Additionally, it is used for various symptoms where vitamin B1 deficiency is suspected, such as neuralgia, myalgia, and peripheral neuropathy. However, continued use for more than one month without specific purpose should be avoided. This medication is used to improve various symptoms associated with vitamin B1 deficiency.
As Fursultiamine, the usual adult dosage is 5 to 100 mg administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously per day. The dosage should be adjusted according to symptoms.
This medication is for injection use, and care must be taken as glass fragments may mix when opening the ampoule. Extra caution is needed when using it in children or the elderly. It should not be administered to patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. It should be used cautiously in patients with a history of hypersensitivity. Serious side effects such as shock may occur rarely during use; therefore, if symptoms such as low blood pressure, chest pain, or difficulty breathing occur, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Allergic reactions such as rashes may also occur, and use should be discontinued if symptoms appear. Gastrointestinal side effects can include nausea, vomiting, glossitis, and occasionally diarrhea, and symptoms such as headache or frequent urination may rarely appear. When administering the injection, it is advisable to inject slowly to minimize vascular pain. To prevent bacterial infection, the remaining solution should not be reused. When opening the ampoule, the marked side should be facing up, and the opposite side should be gently pressed to create a clean break, ensuring the ampoule is wiped with an alcohol swab to prevent contamination. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may lead to accidents or degradation of the drug's quality.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container that blocks light and kept at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. This storage method helps maintain the drug's efficacy and prevent deterioration.
