This medicine is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in adults. It alleviates the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and improves joint conditions by inhibiting joint space reduction and structural damage seen in X-ray imaging. It also helps enhance physical function impaired due to arthritis. Additionally, it is used to relieve symptoms and signs of active psoriatic arthritis. Caution is required when concomitantly administered with certain other medications, but it can be used with aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and low-dose corticosteroids. Therefore, it is effective for treating rheumatoid arthritis and active psoriatic arthritis.
