This medication improves symptoms of brain function decline caused by cerebral blood circulation disorders and brain nutrition disorders, such as memory loss, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, vision impairment, anxiety, and depression. It is also used to treat circulation and nutrition disorders caused by vascular diseases such as atherosclerotic vascular disease and diabetic vascular damage, intermittent claudication, obliterative vascular disease, and Raynaud's disease.

How it is given

Adult administration

5 to 10 mL daily by intramuscular or intravenous injection, or 15 mL every two days by intravenous injection. For acute treatment: 25 mL daily by intravenous injection or infusion. For severe treatment: 25-50 mL daily by intravenous injection or infusion.

Precautions

This drug is an injectable ampoule, and care must be taken when cutting the container to avoid glass shards. Extra caution is required when used by children or the elderly. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to this drug should not use it. It is also recommended that women who are pregnant or may become pregnant avoid this medication. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should use this drug with caution. Additionally, individuals scheduled for surgery should also exercise caution when using this medication. Rarely, gastrointestinal disturbances may occur when taking this drug, and those with allergies may experience symptoms such as low blood pressure, dizziness, headaches, heat sensations, and heart palpitations. Some patients may experience symptoms such as pain in the extremities, fever, chills, and shock. Fatigue, chronic airway obstruction, peripheral edema, and symptoms similar to angina may also be experienced. In severe cases, anaphylaxis (acute allergic reaction) has been reported, so if any unusual symptoms arise, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is advised. Nursing women are advised to avoid this medication, and it is not yet known whether the components of this drug are transmitted through breast milk. This medication is known not to affect blood sugar control.
