Balmoogel (Terbinafine)

Adult use

This medication is applied once a day. Clean and dry the infected area before application, and apply a thin layer to the infected area and its surroundings. In cases of intertriginous infections, a gauze may be covered at night.

This medication contains the ingredient terbinafine, and should not be used by patients who have had an allergic reaction to this ingredient or the drug itself. Moreover, this medication contains propylene glycol, and patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it with caution. During use, symptoms such as rash, redness, irritation, itching, or discomfort may occur; if such symptoms arise, stop using it immediately and consult a professional. Pregnant women should only use this drug when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, and careful consideration should be taken if a pregnant woman uses it. Additionally, since this drug is excreted in breast milk, breastfeeding mothers using this drug should discontinue breastfeeding as the drug may be transmitted to the baby. Due to insufficient usage experience in children, it is advisable not to use this drug in this age group as safety cannot be assured. This medication should be used only as a topical agent on the skin and care should be taken to avoid contact around the eyes.
