Precautions

This drug may cause muscle-related symptoms; if severe muscle pain or weakness occurs, or if creatine kinase levels become significantly elevated, discontinue use immediately. This drug can affect liver function, and should not be used in cases of liver disease or elevated liver enzyme levels. It is contraindicated in individuals with muscle disorders, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children under 10 years of age. Regular monitoring of liver function tests and muscle status is important during treatment. Especially if symptoms such as muscle pain, weakness, or fever occur, contact a physician immediately. This drug may interact with other medications, so inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medications. Women who may become pregnant should use appropriate contraception during treatment, and discontinue immediately if pregnancy is confirmed.
