Precautions

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including this medication, may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events, particularly in those at risk for heart disease or stroke. If cardiovascular symptoms occur while taking this medication, one must seek medical attention immediately, and this caution applies even to individuals without a history of cardiovascular disease. Patients with hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, etc., should use this medication with caution and avoid high-dose usage. This medication may cause serious gastrointestinal side effects such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforation, especially in the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease. Long-term use may increase the risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions, so patients should be vigilant for any gastrointestinal symptoms while on this medication. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or those with severe liver, kidney, or heart disease, should not take this medication. Those with hypersensitivity to this drug or history of asthma, or allergies to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, should not take it. Pregnant women who are in their sixth month or later should not take this drug, as it may harm the fetus. Caution must be exercised when taking this medication in combination with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as this may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and reduce the drug's effectiveness. It is prohibited to take this medication with high-dose methotrexate due to the risk of fatal toxicity. During usage, nursing should be stopped, or the drug discontinued, and caution is necessary when driving or operating machinery as dizziness or fatigue may occur. Long-term high-dose use may lead to headaches, so caution is necessary. Individuals with blood disorders, liver or kidney disease, hypertension, heart failure, the elderly, and pregnant women or those planning pregnancy should consult a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this drug. If symptoms such as shock, severe allergic reaction, gastrointestinal bleeding, skin rash, liver dysfunction, kidney problems, or cardiovascular symptoms occur while taking this medication, it must be discontinued immediately, and medical consultation is required. It is advisable to take this medication at the minimum effective dose for the shortest period possible, and routine blood tests along with liver and kidney function tests are necessary during chronic disease treatment. Blood pressure should be regularly monitored as this medication may worsen hypertension, and caution is needed if fluid retention or swelling occurs. After 20 weeks of pregnancy, this medication may affect the fetal renal function, so amniotic fluid levels need to be monitored during use, and should any symptoms appear, it should be discontinued immediately.
