How to take

Adult dose

As Donepezil Hydrochloride, administer 5 mg once daily before bedtime. Donepezil concentration reaches a steady state 15 days after administration, and the frequency of adverse reactions can be affected by the rate of dosage increase, so a dosage of 5 mg should be administered for 4 to 6 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to certain ingredients or by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It should also not be administered to patients with genetically inherited lactose intolerance. Caution should be taken with patients who are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or have a history of peptic ulcers, as gastrointestinal symptoms may worsen. Dizziness or fatigue may occur when driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. There may be interactions with other medications; if you are taking any other medications, be sure to inform your healthcare provider. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised not to use this medication; if necessary, consulting with a specialist is recommended. Safety for children has not been established, so it is principled not to use it.
