Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disease mainly appearing on the face, scalp, and chest, accompanied by redness, scaling, and itching. This medication is used to relieve the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis and soothe skin inflammation.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

After wetting the hair with water, apply a sufficient amount so that it lathers and massage thoroughly with fingertips. Rinse the hair several times and wash off completely after 3-5 minutes. This medication is used 2-3 times a week or whenever needed during scalp disease treatment.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with allergy reactions to this drug or its ingredients. If there are allergy symptoms or if there is a family history of allergic constitution, when using on the face or large areas, in the presence of sores, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in children under 12 years of age, and patients currently undergoing treatment by a physician, must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before use. If skin irritation or injury occurs during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, which should be used with caution in patients who are allergic or sensitive to this ingredient. This medication is for application only on the scalp and adjacent areas, so it should not be applied to mucous membranes such as the eyes, mouth, nose, vagina, or on the genital area, or areas with eczema or severe wounds. If the application area is dirty or contaminated, it is advisable not to use it immediately. When used by children, caregivers should supervise closely, and pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult with a specialist. The safety of this medication during pregnancy has not been completely confirmed, but no specific problems were found in animal experiments. If breastfeeding, the area should be washed clean after application to ensure no residue is left before feeding. If symptoms do not improve after using the medication for more than 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Rarely, hair discoloration or changes may occur.
