How to take

Adult dose

As Donepezil Hydrochloride, it is administered once daily at a dose of 5 mg before bedtime. During the initial 4 to 6 weeks, 5 mg dosage should be administered, and after evaluating the clinical response during this period, the dosage can be increased to 10 mg. When increasing to 10 mg per day, attention should be given to gastrointestinal adverse reactions. This medication is not used for other memory disorders outside of dementia symptoms and should only be taken under the diagnosis and supervision of a specialist. Caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery during treatment, especially at the beginning of treatment or when changing doses. This medication may interact with other drugs, so patients should inform their healthcare provider of any other medications they are currently taking. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this medication and should discontinue breastfeeding if necessary.
