This medicine is used to treat ulcers that occur in the stomach and duodenum. It also alleviates symptoms caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease and is applicable for long-term maintenance therapy. It increases the effectiveness of treatment in patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori by combining with antibiotics. Additionally, it is used for conditions involving excessive gastric acid secretion, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, this medication improves various ulcers and reflux disease symptoms in the gastrointestinal tract.

How to take
