This medication is effective for inflammatory diseases such as degenerative arthritis, adhesive capsulitis, tendonitis, and tenosynovitis. It is also used to relieve symptoms of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), muscle pain, and swelling and pain after trauma. In other words, it reduces inflammation and pain in joints and muscles, improving discomfort in daily activities. It helps in alleviating pain and inflammation associated with these diseases and symptoms.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

S-Type: After removing the peeling agent from the adhesive side, apply 1 sheet to the affected area twice a day. R-Type: Cut to an appropriate length, remove the peeling agent from the adhesive side, and apply to the affected area twice a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components, or to other Felbinac formulations. Additionally, patients with a history of asthma attacks when using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not use this medication, as it may induce asthma attacks. Patients who have experienced hives or acute rhinitis from aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should also avoid using this medication. Caution is advised for patients with bronchial asthma, as this medication may trigger asthma attacks. This medication may cause itching, skin redness, erythema, dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and in rare cases, irritation or blisters. If these symptoms worsen, use should be discontinued immediately. Furthermore, rare but severe allergic reactions accompanied by hives or bronchospasm may occur, so caution is necessary. This medication can also cause gastrointestinal disturbances. It is a symptomatic treatment for alleviating inflammation or pain and does not treat the underlying causes, which should be understood. When used in areas with skin infections, it may exacerbate the infection, so it should be used with antibacterial or antifungal agents while monitoring the condition closely. When using for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, other treatment options should be considered alongside medication treatment, and the patient's condition and potential side effects should be carefully monitored. In late pregnancy, this medication may cause adverse labor or delayed childbirth, so it should not be used by pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, or nursing mothers. Safety has not been established for children, so it is not recommended for use in pediatric patients. Do not apply to damaged skin, mucous membranes, or areas with eczema or rash, and take care to avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
