This medication is used to adjunctively treat gingivitis and mild or moderate periodontitis that may occur after periodontal treatment. It helps to reduce inflammation and supports the recovery of periodontal tissue health. It can assist patients in effective periodontal management.
Dosage
For adults, take 1 capsule three times a day after meals.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by children under 15 years of age. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with a genetic disorder that impairs lactose digestion should not take it. Those with a history of allergic reactions must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you are taking other medications, it is important to discuss possible drug interactions with a professional. Consultation is also necessary prior to use if you are currently undergoing treatment or have a family history of allergic conditions. If symptoms such as rash, redness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or vomiting occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If severe skin reactions or high fever, stomatitis, etc., occur, inform medical personnel immediately. If symptoms do not improve after more than one month of usage, stop taking the medication and consult your doctor. Be sure to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and avoid long-term continuous use.
Side effects
Urticaria, severe rash with high fever, serious skin mucosal syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell syndrome), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, conjunctival hyperemia, rash/redness with fever, edema, etc., severe skin adverse reactions.
