The vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C included in this medication supply nutrients necessary during physical fatigue, pregnancy, lactation, during and after illness, growth periods, and in old age. They help to alleviate dry eyes, improve night blindness, and prevent developmental disorders of bones and teeth. Additionally, they prevent rickets and support healthy bone formation. This medication works uniformly against various diseases and symptoms, contributing to overall health improvement.
How to take
Adult dose
Adults should take 1 capsule twice a day.
Precautions
This medication should be used with caution as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily can pose a risk of congenital abnormalities in fetuses for women within the first three months of pregnancy or for women who may become pregnant. Patients with hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), patients with sarcoidosis (an unknown cause systemic inflammatory disease), patients with kidney diseases, patients with kidney stones, and those allergic to soybean oil, soybeans, or peanuts should not take this medication. This medication should not be taken together with levodopa. Patients under medical treatment, those with a history of hyperoxaluria, gout, or kidney stones, as well as pregnant or potentially pregnant women, or lactating mothers, premature infants, and infants should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, itching, dry and rough skin, joint pain and swelling, diarrhea, constipation, rash, or erythema appear during administration, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. If menstrual changes or prolonged bleeding occur, discontinuation and consultation are necessary. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or patients with thrombotic predispositions should be cautious as taking vitamin E alongside could increase the risk of thrombosis. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and excessive intake of certain vitamins can cause side effects such as neurological disorders, hematological abnormalities, peptic ulcers, liver damage, and increased risk of osteoporosis. Dosage should strictly adhere to prescribed usage and dosage, and since vitamin A is adequately supplied through a normal diet, care must be taken not to exceed 5,000 IU as supplementary therapy. This medication may affect urine test results, and patients expected to have lipid overload should periodically check blood lipid levels. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight in a sealed container. Moreover, transferring this medication to another container may risk misuse and degradation of quality, so it must be kept in the original container.
