Precautions
This product should be used with caution as administering vitamin A in doses exceeding 5,000 IU per day to women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant can pose a risk of congenital malformations. Patients with hypercalcemia, patients with sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin), patients with kidney disease, patients allergic to this product or any of its ingredients, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, patients with severe renal failure, and patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic conditions should not take this medication. While taking this medicine, avoid taking phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline medications, antacids, and levodopa. Patients being treated by a physician, children who are exposed to a lot of sunlight and eating normally, patients with hyperoxaluria, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, premature infants and babies, patients with cardiovascular and circulatory disorders, kidney disease patients, patients with hypoproteinemia, patients taking cardiac glycosides, gout patients or those with a history of kidney stones should consult with a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before use. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, dry and rough skin, joint swelling, diarrhea, gastric discomfort, constipation, rash, hypotension, irregular heartbeat, facial flushing, or skin rashes appear during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. For women, menstrual cycles may become more frequent or bleeding may increase, and there is a risk of thrombosis when taking estrogen-containing oral contraceptives, thus caution is advised. There is a possibility of tolerance developing with prolonged high-dose use, and certain vitamins can cause neuropathy or hematological adverse reactions, so caution is necessary. Additionally, high-dose use may lead to an increased risk of peptic ulcer, glucose intolerance, hyperuricemia, liver damage, hypercalcemia, heart failure, edema, and osteoporosis, therefore dosage and duration should be strictly observed. Ensure to follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and parental supervision is required when administered to children. It is advisable to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking the medication. This medication may affect blood glucose tests or other clinical test results. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and avoid direct sunlight during storage.
