Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. This medication should not be used in patients with certain allergies, severely impaired kidney function, severely impaired liver function, and patients with specific electrolyte abnormalities. Patients with low blood pressure or kidney issues, patients with liver disease, diabetes patients, and elderly individuals should take special caution when using this medication. During treatment, regular monitoring of potassium and sodium levels in the blood is necessary to prevent electrolyte imbalances. Due to the hydrochlorothiazide component, the skin may become sensitive to sunlight, so excessive exposure should be avoided, and if any skin changes occur, consult a doctor. This medication can interact with several other drugs, so if you are currently taking any other medications, be sure to inform your doctor or pharmacist. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur during the initial dose or when adjusting the dose, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery. There is no experience with this medication in children and adolescents, so it is best not to administer it to these populations. In case of overdose, hypotension or cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so adherence to the prescribed dosage is crucial, and any unusual symptoms should be consulted with a healthcare professional immediately. Pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and breastfeeding mothers should also consult a doctor before use.
