Lonasildum Gel (Terbinafine)

Adult use

This medication is applied once a day. Before application, wash and dry the infected area cleanly, then apply a thin layer to the infected area and surrounding skin. For intertriginous infections, a dressing may be used at night. The treatment duration is once a day for one week.

This medication is an external preparation made from terbinafine. First, individuals who are allergic to or have had hypersensitivity reactions to any ingredients in this medication should not use it. While using, side effects such as hives, redness, red spots, itching, or irritation may occur, so caution is necessary. Pregnant women should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as no fetal risk was found in animal studies. Furthermore, since this medication is excreted in breast milk, nursing mothers are advised to discontinue breastfeeding while using this medication. There is insufficient experience with this medication in children, so it is safest not to administer it to children. This medication is for skin application only and should never be used around the eyes.

Mild side effects

Hives, redness (erythema), erythema (red spots), itching, and irritation may occur at the application site.

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture and kept at a cool temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. By storing it this way, the effectiveness of the medication can be maintained for a longer time.
