This medication can cause liver damage, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day must consult a doctor or pharmacist. Due to the acetaminophen component, serious skin rashes or allergic reactions may occur rarely. If a skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction appears after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The tramadol component increases the risk of seizures if the recommended dose is exceeded, and the risk may also be increased when taken with certain antidepressants or narcotic analgesics, so caution should be exercised in combination therapy. Rarely, a serious allergic reaction known as anaphylaxis may occur. If symptoms such as shortness of breath, hives, or swelling appear while taking this medication, seek medical attention immediately. Administering this medication to patients with severely impaired respiratory function can be life-threatening, so it should only be used under professional monitoring in individuals with respiratory issues such as asthma. Taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may cause severe drowsiness, respiratory depression, or coma, so it should be taken with extreme caution in these cases. Patients with head injuries or those with elevated intracranial pressure should be careful as the respiratory depressant effect of this medication may worsen their symptoms. This medication may cause psychological and physical dependence, so when used for a prolonged period, the risk of dependence should be considered, and it should be used according to a doctor's instructions. Patients with impaired liver function may have a risk of liver damage due to the acetaminophen component, so it is imperative to consult a doctor before taking. In some patients, the metabolism of this medication may be significantly accelerated, increasing the risk of respiratory depression; in such cases, dosage adjustments and careful monitoring are necessary. This medication should not be used in children under 12 years of age or in teenagers under 18 years who have undergone tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, as the risk of respiratory depression is particularly high in this age group. Patients with sleep apnea or hypoxia may experience worsening symptoms while taking this medication, so continuous monitoring of symptom changes is necessary, and dosage adjustments or discontinuation may be required. Elderly patients or those at risk of hyponatremia may develop hyponatremia, so monitoring of symptoms is necessary. This medication should not be administered to certain patients, including those with hypersensitivity, central nervous system drug abuse, severe respiratory depression, head injuries, those taking MAO inhibitors, those with severe liver, kidney, or heart disease, nursing mothers, and children under 12 years of age. Side effects such as drowsiness or dizziness may occur, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating hazardous machinery. In case of overdose, severe respiratory depression, seizures, liver damage, and other dangerous symptoms may occur, so immediate emergency treatment should be sought if suspected. Before taking this medication, caution should be taken to avoid overlapping with other analgesics or acetaminophen-containing medications, as there are risks of dependence and abuse; the duration and dosage should be strictly followed according to a doctor's instructions.
