Rapid relief of migraine (including aura symptoms, related to menstrual cycle)
This medication helps to quickly alleviate the symptoms of migraines whether or not there are aura symptoms present. It also effectively acts on migraines related to women's menstrual cycles to reduce discomfort. Therefore, it is useful in relieving periodic headache symptoms.
Administer 50 mg of sumatriptan orally as a single dose. In a minority of patients, an oral dose of 100 mg may be necessary. If symptoms recur after the initial response, it may be administered again, but the dosage interval must be at least 2 hours, and should not exceed a total of 300 mg within 24 hours. This medication should be taken whole with water.
The safety and efficacy of this drug in pediatric and adolescent patients under 18 years have not yet been established.
This drug is used for the treatment of migraines and should not be administered to patients with certain heart conditions or vascular diseases. Patients with ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, symptoms of arrhythmia, or a past medical history of these conditions should not use this drug. Additionally, it should be avoided in patients with uncontrolled hypertension, severe liver or kidney disorders, and in cases of concurrent use with specific medications. Children under 18 years of age and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this drug. This medication should only be used in patients diagnosed with migraines and caution should be taken not to exceed the prescribed dosage. Drowsiness or dizziness may occur after taking the medication; therefore, attention is required when driving or operating machinery. If chest pain or pressure develops during treatment, discontinue use immediately and seek medical evaluation. This drug may interact with certain medications, so if other medications are being taken, consult a doctor or pharmacist. In cases of overdose, the patient's condition should be monitored for at least 10 hours and appropriate treatment should be given as necessary. Store it in a place out of reach of children, and it should be kept in a sealed container at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius; it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.

This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture, hence it should be stored in a sealed container. Moreover, avoid storing it in extremely hot or cold places; it is recommended to store at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
