This medication helps to relieve dry eyes and prevents growth retardation of the pubic bone and night blindness. It is also used to prevent rickets and to provide vitamins A and D during pregnancy, breastfeeding, periods of illness and recovery, periods of growth, and in the elderly.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults aged 15 and older, take 2 capsules once daily.

Child dose

For children aged 7 to under 15 years, take 1 capsule once daily.

Precautions

Caution should be taken as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to women in the first 3 months of pregnancy or who may become pregnant carries a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. If symptoms such as skin itching, nausea, or vomiting occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after taking for approximately one month, do not continue use and consult a specialist. Pregnant women receiving other treatments or who have consumed more than 10,000 IU of vitamin A daily in the first 3 months of pregnancy must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If diarrhea persists or worsens, stop taking this medication and consult a specialist. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when administering to children, guidance and supervision by an adult is required. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place and kept in a safe place out of reach of children. Also, to maintain quality and prevent misuse, it is important not to transfer to another container.
