How to use

Adult use

1. Urethral Anesthesia 1) Surface anesthesia of male urethra: Inject 20 mL (400 mg as lidocaine hydrochloride), using 10 mL (200 mg as lidocaine hydrochloride) of this medication slowly, apply a penile clamp to the corona for a few minutes, then inject the remainder of the medication. Precautions

This medication is an amide-type local anesthetic and should not be used in patients who have an allergy to this drug or similar substances. Caution should be exercised when used in areas with wounds or infections, patients with epilepsy, cardiac conduction abnormalities, bradycardia, or poor liver function. Additionally, this medication contains propylene glycol, so patients who have allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should be cautious. Shock symptoms may occur while using this medication, so if any symptoms such as hypotension, facial pallor, abnormal pulse, or respiratory depression appear, usage should be immediately stopped, and appropriate treatment should be sought. It can affect the central nervous system resulting in symptoms such as tremors or convulsions, drowsiness, anxiety, dizziness, nausea, irritability, loss of consciousness; if such symptoms occur, usage should be stopped immediately and treatment provided. Caution is needed as it may affect the heart, leading to hypotension, cardiac suppression, or cardiac arrest. Observe for allergic reactions such as hives or swelling on the skin. Always be prepared for emergency measures when using local anesthetics. To reduce side effects, closely monitor the patient's condition and use only the minimum necessary amount. Local absorption is fast when used for surface anesthesia in the airway, so it is safer to use only a small amount. When used intraorally, there is a risk of food intake and aspiration, so extra caution should be taken with children, considering the risks of injury from tongue or oral mucosa numbness. Care must be taken during endotracheal intubation to prevent the medication from entering the intubation tube, and overdose may lead to central nervous system side effects due to systemic absorption, particularly in children. Caution should be exercised as concomitant use with antiarrhythmic medications may exacerbate side effects. Safety during pregnancy has not been established, so it should only be used under medical judgment when absolutely necessary, and during lactation, it is reported that there is no significant risk to the baby at therapeutic doses.
