This medication is used to improve symptoms of Alzheimer's-type dementia. How to take

Adult dose

As donepezil hydrochloride, administer 5 mg once daily before bedtime. Continue to administer the 5 mg dosage for 4 to 6 weeks. The clinical response during this period can be evaluated and the dose may be increased to 10 mg. When increasing to 10 mg per day, attention should be paid to potential gastrointestinal adverse reactions. Underweight women over 85 years old should not exceed 5 mg per day.

Child dose

There is no experience with use in children.

Precautions
