Male pattern hair loss is a condition caused by genetic factors and hormonal changes, and this medication helps improve it to promote healthier hair growth. It is effective in slowing down the progression of hair loss and increasing hair density through treatment.

How to take

Adult dose

Finasteride should be taken orally, 1 mg once a day, regardless of meals. Generally, treatment effects may be seen after taking the medication for at least 3 months, and it is recommended to continue taking the medication to maintain treatment effects. The treatment period and efficacy should be continuously evaluated. If treatment is discontinued, the effects will diminish within 12 months.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by pediatric patients or women. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle broken pieces of this medication, as it could be absorbed through the skin and harm a male fetus.
