Feratis Capsule (Dried Grape Leaf Extract)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 360 mg of dried grape leaf extract once daily with water before breakfast.

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this drug or its components. Additionally, children and adolescents should not take this medication. Individuals who cannot properly absorb glucose and galactose should also avoid taking this capsule form of the drug. It is advisable for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid taking this medication due to insufficient studies conducted on pregnant women. Breastfeeding women should also avoid taking this medication as it is uncertain whether it is transmitted in breast milk, and breastfeeding is not recommended while taking this medication. Women of childbearing potential should consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If allergic symptoms or skin rashes, hives, itching, sun sensitivity, or eczema occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea may rarely occur; consult a physician if these symptoms are severe. Headaches may occur very rarely, so caution is needed. In particular, if sudden severe pain, swelling, discoloration, tension, or warmth occurs in one leg, it could indicate a serious condition such as thrombosis, and immediate medical consultation is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after about 6 weeks of use, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a doctor about other possible causes. This medication typically requires several weeks of use for complete effectiveness, but care should be taken not to exceed a duration of three months. There is insufficient research on the effects on driving or machinery operation, so caution is needed after use. Although serious side effects have not been reported in case of overdose, it is safe to take as prescribed. Treatments such as leg bandaging or compression stockings prescribed by a doctor or rinsing with cold water should continue regardless of this medication's use. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, transferring medicines from their original container to another can result in risks of misuse and quality degradation, so they should be stored in their original containers and tightly closed.
