  • Blood sugar control disorders in patients with Type 2 diabetes
View approved original text

This medication is used to help control blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 diabetes. It can be administered alone and may also be used in combination with sulfonylureas, metformin, or insulin if there is no improvement in blood sugar when using other oral hypoglycemic agents. Along with drug therapy, dietary therapy, exercise therapy, and, if necessary, weight loss and nutritional counseling are important. Especially, these lifestyle improvement efforts are necessary not only for initial treatment but also to maintain the effectiveness of long-term drug therapy. This medication helps to effectively improve your blood sugar levels.
