This medication is used to improve brain function disorders caused by cerebral blood circulation disorders and cerebral nutrient disorders, such as memory decline, dizziness, headaches, vision disorders, anxiety, and depression. It is also effective for various vascular disorders accompanied by peripheral artery circulation disorders, such as atherosclerotic vascular diseases, diabetic vascular damage, and peripheral artery occlusive disease (intermittent claudication). This medication alleviates symptoms by improving blood circulation in the brain and peripheral vessels and enhances overall vascular health. Therefore, it is used in the treatment of blood circulation disorders, including brain and peripheral vascular problems.

How it is given

Adult administration

Inject 5 to 10 mL intramuscularly or intravenously daily, or 15 mL intravenously every 2 days. For acute treatment: 25 milliliters intravenously daily or by drip infusion. For severe treatment: 25-50 milliliters intravenously daily or by drip infusion.

Precautions

Care should be taken when using this medication due to the glass ampoule. It should be cut carefully, especially in children or elderly individuals, as glass fragments may mix in. Individuals who have allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication should not use it. Additionally, it is safest for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid taking this medication. Persons with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should use this medication with caution, and it should also be used carefully in patients scheduled for surgery. This medication can occasionally cause gastrointestinal issues, and allergic individuals may experience symptoms such as low blood pressure, dizziness, headaches, flushing, and arrhythmias. Some individuals may also experience symptoms such as pain in the limbs, fever, chills, and shock. Fatigue, chronic airway obstruction, leg swelling, and symptoms similar to angina may occur, and severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have been reported. Women who are breastfeeding are advised not to take this medication. It is not yet known whether the ingredients of this medication are transmitted through breast milk. Finally, this medication is known not to affect blood sugar control.
