This medication helps alleviate pain caused by gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia, and improves symptoms of dyspepsia, nausea, and vomiting associated with gastric and duodenal ulcers. It also alleviates symptoms of functional bowel disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and spastic colon, and is used in young children with habitual vomiting. It is effective in improving diarrhea and constipation caused by non-infectious gastrointestinal dysfunction, as well as symptoms of intestinal obstruction after gastrointestinal surgery. Furthermore, it assists in relieving pyloric and colonic spasms occurring during X-ray or endoscopic examinations. It is used for the improvement of various gastrointestinal-related symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet twice a day on an empty stomach.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose; therefore, it should not be used by individuals with genetic conditions that impair lactose digestion such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Care should be taken when using this medication during the first three months of pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Although animal studies did not induce fetal malformations, the safety during pregnancy has not been conclusively verified. Rarely, while taking this medication, symptoms such as fatigue, a sensation of fever or coldness, mild diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dyspepsia, drowsiness, or slight dizziness may occur, and caution is advised if these symptoms arise.
