This medication is used to treat eye infections including conjunctivitis, stye, blepharitis, keratitis, and nasolacrimal duct inflammation caused by sensitive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Neisseria, Haemophilus, Moraxella, and Corynebacterium.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Instill 1 drop twice a day. Even after the eyes appear to have recovered, continue to instill for 2 more days. Adjust as needed based on symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. First, it should not be administered to patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug. Also, patients with chlamydia infections should not use this drug. Pregnant women, especially in the last three months, should avoid this medication. When using this drug, temporary irritation or allergic reactions may occur in the eyes. To prevent the development of resistant bacteria, this medication should be used only for the minimum necessary duration, after confirming sensitivity to the bacteria. It is advisable to avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment to reduce eye irritation.
