This medicine is used to treat stable angina due to hypertension and narrowing of coronary arteries, as well as variant angina caused by temporary contraction of blood vessels resulting in myocardial ischemia. Additionally, it is effective in reducing the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients with confirmed coronary artery disease from recent angiography, without heart failure and with normal cardiac output, and it also decreases risks associated with coronary artery revascularization. This medication helps in managing cardiovascular diseases and in preventing complications.
