- Adult administration
- This medication should be injected into the anterior segment of the eye in a sterile manner and should be administered into the anterior chamber before or after lens extraction. It may be instilled as drops before lens extraction to protect the corneal endothelium. This prevents damage that may be caused by surgical equipment during cataract extraction due to membrane formation. This medication can also be used to form membranes for the intraocular lens prior to implantation.

This medication is used to assist in various anterior segment ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract extraction and artificial lens implantation. It helps maintain the stability of the eye during surgery and aids in recovery afterward. This contributes to the patient's vision recovery and improves surgical outcomes.
How it is given
Adult administration
This medication should be injected into the anterior segment of the eye in a sterile manner and should be administered into the anterior chamber before or after lens extraction. It may be instilled as drops before lens extraction to protect the corneal endothelium. This prevents damage that may be caused by surgical equipment during cataract extraction due to membrane formation. This medication can also be used to form membranes for the intraocular lens prior to implantation.
Precautions
This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to its components. Due to the presence of sodium hyaluronate, there may be a temporary increase in intraocular pressure, so caution is warranted. As a viscoelastic agent used in surgical procedures, it may rarely cause side effects such as postoperative inflammation, infection, corneal edema, or corneal clouding. The phosphate component contained in this medication can very rarely cause corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage, so caution should be exercised. Failure to adhere to instructions or use equipment other than the provided cannula may result in separation of the cannula, leading to severe trauma. General precautions related to anterior segment surgery must be strictly followed. Although sodium hyaluronate and sodium chondroitin sulfate are highly purified biological substances, allergic reactions may still occur, so careful monitoring is necessary. The cannula should be used as a single-use only and should not be reused. It should only be used when the solution is clear, and should not be used if it is cloudy or altered. Care must be taken to avoid air bubbles forming in the injection solution, and the product should not be used if the container is damaged. This medication is intended exclusively for ophthalmic use, and the provided cannula and retaining ring are also for single-use only. It should be stored in a refrigerator and allowed to sit at room temperature for 20-40 minutes before use to reach an appropriate temperature. It should be kept in a safe place out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool location. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container, and take precautions to prevent misuse.
