It may affect liver function, so if symptoms of severe liver dysfunction, such as hepatitis or jaundice, appear, stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Allergic reactions such as skin rash or hives may occur, and rare changes in blood cell counts may also happen. Gastrointestinal symptoms reported include abdominal bloating, numbness of the tongue and lips, nausea, and vomiting. Symptoms of rapid heartbeat or neurological disturbances such as dizziness or headache may occur rarely. If gastrointestinal symptoms do not improve even after taking the medication for more than 2 weeks, long-term use should be avoided. When taken with anticholinergics, the effect of this medication may decrease, so caution regarding dosage intervals is necessary. It should be administered cautiously to children and elderly individuals, especially the elderly should take it while carefully monitoring kidney and liver function.
