This medication is used to treat myocardial ischemia caused by stable angina due to hypertension or fixed occlusion of coronary arteries, as well as variant angina caused by vascular spasms and contractions. Additionally, it reduces the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography, who do not have heart failure and have a cardiac output of over 40%. This medication helps reduce risks associated with coronary artery revascularization, thereby facilitating safe treatment. It is effectively used to improve symptoms of cardiovascular diseases and to prevent complications.
