Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day due to the risk of gastric bleeding, and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication can cause issues with the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, so patients with risk factors like heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking should use it cautiously and only at the minimum effective dosage for the shortest duration possible. Serious adverse reactions such as gastric ulcers, bleeding, or perforation may occur, thus it is especially important for the elderly to exercise caution and seek immediate treatment if symptoms of gastric bleeding arise. Patients with active peptic ulcers or a history of bleeding, hypersensitivity to this medication, a history of asthma or allergic reactions, heart failure, severe renal or liver impairment, pregnant women in late pregnancy, and nursing mothers should refrain from using this medication. Patients with renal impairment, heart failure, hypertension, seniors, and asthma should be particularly cautious when administering this medication and should have their condition monitored regularly according to medical advice. This medication may cause central nervous system side effects like dizziness or drowsiness, therefore driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided. Women planning a pregnancy or those in early to mid-pregnancy should use this medication with great care at the minimum dosage, and it must not be taken during the late stages of pregnancy. This medication may interact with other drugs; therefore, consultation with a doctor is crucial, especially if taking anticoagulants, diuretics, blood pressure medications, or antidiabetic medications. Regular blood tests and checks for liver and kidney function should be conducted for those on long-term medication, and any unusual symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. This medication can lead to serious side effects, including gastrointestinal bleeding, skin rash, shortness of breath, heart problems, etc., so if these symptoms occur, the patient should stop taking the medication and seek medical attention. The safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been established, so it is advisable not to use this medication in these populations. Elderly patients are at higher risk for gastric bleeding and perforation, hence they need to be especially careful when taking this medication. In case of overdose, gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, seizures, etc., may occur, necessitating an immediate visit to a medical institution. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children, and transferring it to other containers may compromise its quality.
