Particular care should be taken when using it directly on sensitive areas such as the brain, spinal cord, and inner ear, as it can cause hearing loss or neurological disorders. Avoid use on mucosal areas such as the vagina, bladder, and oral cavity, as severe reactions such as shock may occur. It is also safe to refrain from using it on the eyes or on inflamed or suppurated areas. Patients with allergies to other medications or a history or family history of allergic diseases such as asthma should use this drug cautiously. When using this drug, symptoms of shock may occasionally arise, so if symptoms like nausea, cold sweat, dizziness, shortness of breath, and skin redness appear, the use should be immediately ceased and appropriate medical treatment sought. It should not be used on widely damaged or severely burned areas, and particular caution should be exercised with premature infants and newborns due to the higher risk of systemic side effects. The area where this drug is applied should be thoroughly cleaned of soaps or organic substances that may reduce its bactericidal effect before use. When diluting for application, it is preferable to use clean distilled water, and the diluted solution should be made fresh daily and not stored long term for safety.
