Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Those with an allergy or history of hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should avoid its use. Patients with otitis externa with a perforated tympanic membrane should be cautious, as healing may be delayed with this medication. It is advised not to use this medication for ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as it may inhibit skin regeneration and delay healing. It should not be used in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. In cases of hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin, cross-allergic reactions may occur, so this medication should not be used. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women and nursing mothers must consult healthcare professionals before using this medication. Caution is advised when using in children or minors under the supervision of a guardian. If there are abnormal symptoms such as infections, irritation, rash, itching, or redness on the skin, use should be discontinued immediately and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. Long-term use may lead to thinning of the skin or other side effects, so continuous use should be avoided. This medication contains corticosteroid components, and systemic absorption due to extensive use or occlusive bandaging may cause side effects like adrenal function suppression, so caution is necessary. Care should be taken when using around the eyes to avoid increased intraocular pressure or the risk of glaucoma. Long-term or large-scale use may lead to renal impairment or hearing loss, so careful attention is needed. The duration of treatment varies according to symptoms, but if symptoms do not improve after 3-4 weeks, use should be discontinued, and other conditions should be suspected. During the use of this medication, the prescribed dosage should be strictly adhered to, and it should not be arbitrarily discontinued or altered. Allergic reactions may occur, so if symptoms such as skin redness, swelling, papules, or blisters appear, use should be stopped immediately and a specialist consulted. This medication is not for ophthalmic use, and application to the skin after makeup or shaving should be avoided. When using an occlusive dressing, it must be done under the supervision of a physician, and the affected area should be kept clean to reduce the risk of infection. It should be stored out of the reach of children, and the medication should be kept in its original container to prevent degradation or misuse.
