Terbinafine Gel (Terbinafine)

Adult use

Apply this medication once daily. Clean and dry the infected area before applying a thin layer to the infected area and its surroundings. For intertriginous infections, you may cover it with gauze at night.

This medication contains the active ingredient terbinafine and is used for the treatment of skin diseases. Firstly, it should not be used in patients who have experienced an allergic reaction to this medication. While using this product, side effects such as rash, redness, red spots, itching, or irritation may occur, so caution is advised. Although there have been no reported risks to the fetus when used by pregnant women, it is recommended to use it only when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. Additionally, this medication can be secreted in breast milk, so nursing mothers should discontinue breastfeeding while using this product. There is insufficient experience regarding use in children, so it is safer not to administer it to them. Finally, this product is a topical application that should be used only on the skin and should never be applied around the eyes.
