This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, and it alleviates the symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also used for long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease and is administered in combination with antibiotics for patients with gastrointestinal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is effective in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps to treat various gastrointestinal disorders.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally at a dose of 10 mg once daily. Depending on symptoms, it can be increased to 20 mg once daily.
