This medicine contains flurbiprofen as an active ingredient and should not be used by certain patients. First, patients with hypersensitivity to this medicine or other flurbiprofen preparations should not use it. Also, patients who have experienced asthma attacks triggered by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs known as aspirin-induced asthma should avoid using this medication, as it may trigger asthma attacks. Bronchial asthma patients should use this medication cautiously, as there is a risk of asthma attacks. When using this medication, side effects such as skin redness, rash, itching, burning sensation, or contact dermatitis may occur, and if any of these symptoms appear, use should be discontinued immediately. Additionally, as it may trigger asthma attacks, if initial symptoms such as dry wheezing, wheezing, or difficulty breathing occur, use should be stopped, as asthma attacks can occur within hours of applying this medication. This medicine is symptomatic relief and does not treat the underlying cause, so this should be kept in mind. If used on inflamed areas with skin infections, the infection may be masked, so appropriate antibacterials or antifungals should be used alongside and the condition should be monitored carefully. When used for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, alternative treatments should also be considered in addition to medication, and the patient's condition should be closely monitored for potential side effects. It is advisable not to use this medication during pregnancy, especially during the first two trimesters, unless absolutely necessary, and if used, it should be at a lower dose and for a shorter duration. During the last trimester of pregnancy, this medication can cause cardiopulmonary or renal toxicity to the fetus and increase the risk of bleeding for both mother and child, potentially delaying labor, so it should not be used. Safety for children has not been adequately established, and experience with use is limited. For the elderly, it should be used carefully while paying attention to skin condition. Finally, this medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes, as well as areas with eczema or rash, and the application site should be cleaned of sweat before use.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
