Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication should not be given to patients with specific allergic reactions, severely impaired kidney function, liver dysfunction, or specific electrolyte imbalances. Patients with special health conditions such as hypotension, kidney issues, liver disease, diabetes, gout, elderly individuals, etc. should use this medication cautiously, and it is important to limit sun exposure and periodically check skin conditions as there may be an increased risk of skin cancer. During treatment, symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and low blood pressure may occur, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. This medication may affect serum electrolyte levels, so regular blood tests and kidney function tests are necessary. Potassium supplements or potassium-containing medications should be avoided, and consultation with a doctor is required. Additionally, this medication may interact with other antihypertensive drugs, diuretics, antidiabetic agents, anti-inflammatory medications, etc., so any concurrent medications must be reported. If severe side effects or allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face or lips, difficulty breathing) occur during treatment, consult a healthcare professional immediately. There is no experience using this medication in children and adolescents, so it is best not to administer it to them.
