Adult dose
Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally once daily at a dose of 10 mg. Depending on the symptoms, it may be taken at 20 mg orally once daily. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease, 10 mg or 20 mg is administered orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. It also relieves the symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease and is effective for long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease. In patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it can be treated more effectively in combination with antibiotics. It is also helpful in conditions associated with excessive gastric acid secretion, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medicine is used for treating and improving symptoms related to the stomach and esophagus.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally once daily at a dose of 10 mg. Depending on the symptoms, it may be taken at 20 mg orally once daily. Usually, for gastric ulcers, it is administered for up to 8 weeks, and for duodenal ulcers, up to 6 weeks.
