This medication can be used as an adjunct dietary therapy to lower elevated triglyceride levels in patients with type IV hypertriglyceridemia. Additionally, it can be used in combination with statin drugs in patients with combined type (type IIb) hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia. It works effectively in combination with statins, especially in patients whose triglyceride levels are not well controlled. Therefore, this drug helps improve triglyceride levels and regulate blood lipids, supporting patient health management.
