Children, especially those under 6 years old, should be kept safe from accidental overdose of this medication as it may pose a risk to life, so it should be stored out of their reach. Individuals with certain conditions such as hypercalcemia, kidney disease, or sarcoidosis should not take this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, rashes, abdominal pain, or respiratory distress occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. Also, caution is required if menstrual changes or prolonged bleeding occur. Adhere to the prescribed dosages strictly, and since vitamin A can also be adequately ingested through diet, care should be taken not to exceed 5,000 IU daily as a supplement. It is advisable to avoid teas high in tannins such as green tea or black tea during use, and one should inform healthcare providers about the use of this medication as it may affect blood and urine test results.
