How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet once daily containing 50 mg of Losartan Potassium and 12.5 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide. If blood pressure is not controlled, it may be increased to a maximum of 1 tablet once daily containing 100 mg of Losartan Potassium and 25 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide. Administration can be done regardless of meals.

Child dose

There is no experience using this medication in children and adolescents, so it should not be administered.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any of its components, or if you have certain kidney, liver diseases, or electrolyte imbalances. Patients with significantly low blood pressure or severely impaired kidney function, as well as women of childbearing potential, should use this medication cautiously. Symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, or low blood pressure may occur, so consult a doctor if you experience these symptoms. This medication can affect potassium levels in the blood, so it is advisable not to take it with potassium supplements or potassium-containing medications. Hives, severe swelling (edema), severe allergic reactions, angioedema (swelling of the larynx/cords which may cause airway obstruction, swelling of the face/lips/throat/tongue), tightness in chest, difficulty breathing, respiratory distress, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), severe hypertension, palpitations, extreme generalized lethargy, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), acute myopia, acute angle-closure glaucoma, thrombocytopenia, thrombocyte reduction
