Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bleeding disorders. Patients with hemophilia, capillary abnormalities, gastrointestinal ulcers, or urinary tract bleeding may experience exacerbated bleeding. It is safer for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant not to take this medication, as adverse effects on the fetus have been reported in animal studies. Women who are menstruating or have a tendency for bleeding should exercise special caution when using this medication, as there is an increased risk of exacerbated bleeding. Patients on anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents should use this drug cautiously, as the risk of bleeding may increase when taken together. Patients with severely impaired kidney function should be cautious, as this may affect the excretion of the medication. Elderly patients should begin with a low dose and be observed closely, as decreased kidney and liver function may result in increased drug concentrations. During treatment, it is important to regularly check for signs of bleeding, liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, and other adverse reactions through blood tests and health status evaluations. If symptoms such as skin rash or itching due to hypersensitivity occur, it is crucial to stop the medication immediately and consult a doctor. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal pain, and heartburn may occur; thus, caution is needed. The safety of this medication in children has not been established, and due to the lack of experience, its use is discouraged. When taking the medication, ensure it is stored out of reach of children, and do not transfer it to other containers.
