Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or even death to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergies to any of the ingredients, certain kidney and liver function disorders, or pregnant or potentially pregnant women should not take this medication. Caution is needed when using this medication for patients with low blood pressure, poor kidney function, electrolyte imbalances, or elderly patients, especially those with a history of skin cancer or photosensitivity. While taking this medication, blood pressure may drop too low, and dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so care should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Due to the hydrochlorothiazide component, electrolyte imbalances may occur, and regular blood tests should be conducted to check levels of potassium, sodium, etc. Extra caution should be taken in case of symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea. This medication can cause dangerously elevated potassium levels in the blood if taken concurrently with potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements; therefore, potassium supplements should not be taken without consulting a physician. Interactions may occur if this medication is taken with other antihypertensives, diuretics, or antidiabetic agents, so it should be taken according to a doctor's instructions. Adverse reactions may include dizziness, cough, rash, muscle pain, etc. If severe allergic reactions or symptoms of angioedema occur, medical personnel should be notified immediately. This medication has not been shown to be safe or effective for children and adolescents, so it should not be administered to them. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight and kept out of the reach of children. It should not be transferred to another container but should be stored in its original container.
