This medication is used for the temporary relief of pain, itching, swelling, and bleeding associated with anal fissures and hemorrhoids.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day or insert it rectally. In the case of rectal application, attach the applicator to the tube and insert it rectally.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with infected wounds or inflammatory areas. Patients with heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, and those having difficulty urinating due to benign prostatic hyperplasia should also avoid using this medication. Additionally, nursing women should be cautious as this medication may be transmitted through breast milk and cause an increase in the baby's heart rate. During the use of this medication, it is important not to use other medications, ointments, or creams containing certain ingredients together, and it is also safe not to take antihypertensives or antidepressants concurrently.
