Relief of pain and inflammation in degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis), periarthritis of the shoulder, etc.
This medication is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with various joint and muscle-related conditions such as degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis), periarthritis of the shoulder, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and epicondylitis (tennis elbow, etc.). It also helps reduce muscle pain and swelling following trauma, aiding in rapid recovery. It is a suitable treatment option for patients suffering from these symptoms.
S-Type: After removing the release liner from the medication surface, apply 1 piece twice a day to the affected area.
This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to specific ingredients or those with a history of hypersensitivity to similar medications. Caution is required for asthmatic patients who have experienced asthma attacks due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or those who are allergic to aspirin, as this medication may exacerbate asthma. While using this medication, skin reactions such as itching, rash, redness, and dermatitis may occur, so it should be discontinued immediately if symptoms worsen. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as hives or bronchospasm may occur, and if such symptoms arise, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. This medication may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, so individuals with gastrointestinal issues should use it with caution. Though it helps alleviate inflammation and pain, it is not a drug that treats the underlying cause, so remember that it is an adjunct therapy for symptom relief. If there is an accompanying skin infection, it may worsen the infection, so treatment of the infection should be conducted concurrently while monitoring the condition closely. When using this for chronic conditions such as degenerative arthritis, consider other treatment options in addition to medication and closely monitor the occurrence of side effects. In late pregnancy, this medication may cause delayed delivery or difficult labor, making it unsafe for pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers. The safety in children has not been sufficiently confirmed, so it should be used with caution in pediatric patients. Do not apply to damaged skin or mucous membranes, areas with eczema or rash, and avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. When applied to damaged skin, temporary irritation or tingling may occur, so take note of this when using. Moreover, this medication should not be used as a method wrapped in a seal bandage.
